Health risks rise as summer arrives and temperatures rise. Solar radiation can damage the skin and eyes, while excessive heat can increase the risk of dehydration. Some medicines can also increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun.
In this regard, the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain (CGCOF) is launching an awareness-raising campaign aimed addressed to the general public called "Summer Care 2024".
