Medicine supply is guaranteed for the general population in all the municipalities affected by the floods, however, the regular functioning of all the pharmacies may take a long time yet to be achieved.

This is what Jesús Aguilar, and the President of the Pharmacy Chamber of Valencia (MICOF), Jaime Giner, have told the Minister of Health, Mónica García, in a meeting held this Tuesday at the Ministry of Health.

They also confirmed to the Minister that the DANA affected 421 Valencian pharmacies, 200 of them seriously damaged and 92 completely unusable due to the flooding.

The effort and solidarity of the entire profession has allowed many of them to reopen, although still in minimal conditions, and there are still 28 pharmacies pending opening that will still take time to rebuild and return to normal.
