More than a hundred pharmacies in small areas of Castille y León inhabited by less than 5,000 inhabitants became, within the framework of the Rural Health Schools Programme: health education by the pharmacist, into schools providing training to the population on health education, addressing topics such as smoking cessation, contraception or the prevention of malnutrition.
