During this six-month period, Spain holds the Presidency of the European Union. This is a milestone that we at the General Council see as an opportunity to strengthen, at national and European level, the participation of the pharmaceutical profession in the debate on the construction of the European Health Union.
With this objective in mind, on 24 October the General Council organised the conference "Spanish Pharmacy and its contribution to the construction of the European Health Union".
Through three round tables the role that the pharmaceutical profession can play in overcoming the challenges facing the European Union in health matters was analysed.
